I have been dealing in
antiques my whole life, starting at the age of five years old.
My first purchase and sale was a plant stand for 25 cents at a
Batavia, New York Antique shop. From then on, I was hooked in
collecting. As I was also influenced by my grandmother; who
took me early morning flea markets. This hands on experience
allowed me to understand the business.
In 1981, at the age of 17, I did my first antique show at a
park in Hamburg, New York and I sold $218; I felt as if I made
a million. This was my start, my beginning of a long journey
in to a wonderful frontier of antique dealing. I grew and
educated myself with a passion and desire to succeed. To build
a business that would reach goals from year to year. My taste
gradually found early Americana and folk art.
